Indigenous hip hop act, Lord of Ajasa whose real name is Olusegun Osaniyi is back to the music scene.
Lord of Ajasa is the pioneer of Yoruba lingo rap and he’s been duly credited for it. However, despite critical acclaim, he has struggled for years to make it big.
In an exclusive interview with NigezieTv , He opened up on why he has been away, and He also slammed people saying Olamide made him quit music, He also revealed that he produced Olamide's first song and called Olamide, his Son.
The rapper spoke to Nigezie TV about his career at large and why he has been missing from Nigerian music forefront. When he was asked why he left music he said “I didn’t leave the industry, i was busy doing some other things apart from music,”. I’m a family man now i have other businesses,” he added
He was told by the interviewer that Olamide has taken his position in the rap game, he refuted the claim saying “I didn’t leave the industry because of anybody, Olamide is my son, i produced olamide’s first song… He added that he created yoruba rap music. Lord of Ajasa says he needs those in the game to give him the respect and recognition that he deserves.
