Genevieve Nnaji’s Name and Scenes INDEED Missing In ‘Half Of A Yellow Sun' Movie (WATCH TRAILER)

The first trailer of the movie, 'Half Of A Yellow Sun' was released on YouTube, Tuesday, July 23, 2013, and is neither having Genevieve Nnaji's name, nor her scenes included. This is like the second time the producers of the film adaptation would release a trailer of the film and Nollywood's darling would be missing.

The latest trailer is 2:40mins long but the acclaimed queen of Nollywood is totally missing in the latest release.

A few months it was said that some of her scenes will be yanked off because it was drawing back the storyline. That her role in the movie is not unnecessary in the film. Buit seriously, has her role been yanked off for real???

'Half Of A Yellow Sun' selected and will show at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and will open the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in November 2013, is the adaptation of Nigerian born Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s award-winning novel. Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave, Children of Men) and Thandie Newton (Crash, The Pursuit of Happyness) star in this epic chronicle of family ties and tribal violence from celebrated Nigerian playwright Biyi Bandele.
