An explosion has occurred at a Conoil filling station located near the NNPC Towers in Abuja.
The inferno is said to have occurred as a petrol tanker discharging fuel suddenly exploded, rocking several buildings in the area, sending huge balls of fire into the air.
Though casualty figures are uncertain as at the time of filing this report, NE can confirm that rescue workers and firefighters are at the scene of the incident trying to put the situation under control.
