Lupita Nyongo’o Wins Oscar For Best Supporting Actress - 12 Years A Slave (PHOTOS + VIDEO).





Last night, actress and film and music video director of dual Kenyan and Mexican citizenship, Lupita Nyong'o who was amazing as Patsy in 12 Years A Slave, and has been promoting it with her various appearances on magazine covers and red carpets all over, won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the film, which also happens to be her first feature film.






"When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid" Lupita said during her acceptance speech.
