She possesses one of the world’s most famous derrières - which perhaps begs the question, just how famous would Kim Kardashian be without it?

Judging by these (obviously) altered images of the reality star - as imagined with a less curvaceous behind, for a bit of fun - Kim's everyday appearance would certainly not be as extraordinary.

And thanks to Kim’s well-oiled appearance on the cover of Paper Magazine this week, the world's obsession with the star’s rear had reached fever pitch.

Fakers! It didn't take long for pictures claiming to be 'untouched versions' of Kim Kardashian's Paper Magazine shoot to emerge (which the publication have confirmed are NOT real) 

So much so, that Internet fakers began circulating pictures of the reality star - billed as 'untouched' versions from the Paper shoot (which the magazine has stressed are fake).

A rep for the magazine told TMZ that indeed none of the photos that were doing the rounds on the Internet are real, and that the final photos didn't have any 'drastic' Photoshop applied. 

Even Kim herself, it seems, is surprised at the amount of attention she receives when it comes to her bottom, saying last year: ‘There are all these rumours about whether its fake or if its real.’

Despite it looking like her booty size has increased over the years, Kim denies that she has had surgery. 'I'm seeing all these nonsense tabloids claiming I have butt implants-injections. Get a life!' she wrote earlier this year.
