Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is rumored to have given her nod to filmmaker Anand L Rai's next film which will be a women oriented comedy and currently shooting for for Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan along with Salman Khan, featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Bride for their November 2014 issue and the glossy magazine gets up-close and personal with the super-talented actress.
The pretty daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan in 2012 after dating for five years. It is said that couple fell in love while working on the sets of “Tashan” and have been together ever since.
In the magazine, she said that the best part about her wedding was she wore her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s wedding outfit, which was a sharara with 22k gold embroidery. She further said that the best gift that she received from her hubby was his grandmother’s emerald ring with an Islamic prayer inscription. She adds that the ring is extremely close to her heart and is a big responsibility as it has been around for 100 years in the family.
She also had an advice for the brides-to-be. She said, “Marriage is about not losing yourselves – it is about still maintaining your individuality while you make a relationship work. He will respect you all the more for it.”
While for the cover she wore a heavily embellished Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla anarkali , in the inside pages too she is looking stunning donning the season’s hottest trend of black and gold.
