A mother has invented a pair of leggings to combat cellulite.
The
£46 leggings contain 1,200 wooden beads that massage your legs – which,
it is claimed, can remove and prevent the unsightly dimpling of the
skin.
Beba, a mother-of-two who struggled with cellulite on her legs for years, created the first pair and wore them to the gym.
She had such a positive response that she set up a company to share her invention.
The
company says the Cellulite Crusher leggings should be worn for at least
30 to 60 minutes every day, and claims they work while cycling,
running, doing yoga – or even just sitting on the sofa.
The
beads are said to push against the legs as the muscles contract,
putting more pressure on them which is said to aid with breaking up the
fat cells.
Cellulite is bumpy fat under the skin that causes dimpling, particularly affecting women on their hips and thighs.
There
are several therapies to remove it, including pneumatic massages, heat
therapy, and ultrasound - though none have been supported by medical
studies.
