NBA: Bulls edge 76ers thriller; Magic see off Timberwolves; Mavericks punish Jazz

Mike Dunleavy scored 12 of his 27 points in the third quarter as Chicago Bulls clinched a tense 118-115 NBA victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
Dunleavy's season-high haul means the Bulls have now made a 4-0 road start - their best since going 6-0 away to start the 1996-97 season - and Jimmy Butler (23) and Pau Gasol (17) were also among the points at the Wells Fargo Center.

Jeff Green preserved Boston Celtics' 101-98 win against Indiana Pacers by drawing a late foul and sinking two free throws after the Pacers had narrowed their lead to a single point.
Twenty-five points from DeMar DeRozan boosted Toronto Raptorsto a 103-84 triumph over Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings were 114-112 winners against Phoenix Suns.
Orlando Magic had rookie Aaron Gordon to thank as six of his 17 points arrived in overtime to cement a 112-103 win over Minnesota Timberwolves at the Amway Center.
Derby bragging rights went to Brooklyn Nets, who downed New York Knicks 110-99 at the Barclays Center and  Charlotte Hornets beat Atlanta Hawks 122-119 while Memphis Grizzlies clinched a 91-89 victory overOklahoma City Thunder.
Elsewhere, Cleveland Cavaliers edged Denver Nuggets 110-101, Dallas Mavericks saw off Utah Jazz 105-82 and Detroit Pistons outperformed Milwaukee Bucks to win 98-95 in Auburn Hills.
