Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus has been appointed as the Director General of The Imo State Film Academy (IFACA), which officially opens today, November, 14, 2014.
She was appointed by Governor Rochas Okorocha following the establishment of a state of the art Film Academy in Owerri, which is hoped to be beneficial to both Imo state Indigenes and Nigerians at large. Before now Governor Rochas Okorocha once appointed her as special adviser to the governor on Lagos matters.
According to information gathered, a lot of dignitaries attended the opening of the well built institute including top government officials and top Nollywood personalities.
