Picking your nose and eating the solid catarrh can improve your health – Professor

A professor in Canada, claims that eating boogers might improve your health.
The professor of biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, said that by consuming boogers, the immune system learns what it is surrounded by.

Professor Scott Napper told his students that mucus has a sweet taste, and that could be a signal to the body to consume and derive information for the immune system from it.
Napper said his hypothesis also fits with other theories that examine the relationship between improved hygiene and increased allergies and autoimmune disorders.
Napper said he likes talking about nose picking and science to teach students how seemingly simple questions can lead to valuable scientific discoveries.
Napper wants to conduct a study, comparing booger eaters to non eaters. Napper said that surprisingly, he has been contacted by people wanting to participate in his study.
