She’s made a fortune out of playing the ditz.
But Amy Childs has taken her cluelessness to a whole new level after mistaking the deadly virus Ebola for a band.
The
gaff occurred when the former TOWIE star was being interview by The
Revolution Will Be Televised presenter Jolyon Rubinstein on the MOBO’s
red carpet in London last month.

Jolyon questioned: ‘Have we done enough to prevent the spread of Ebola?’ To which a perplexed Amy responded: ‘What?’
The video then cuts to the presenter saying: ‘You know Ebola is going to be huge, don’t you?’
Then an enthusiastic Amy replied: ‘I might be a big fan after tonight… I think it will be absolutely amazing.’
Ella
Eyre also fell victim to the 33-year-old’s curly questions when he
asked the singer if she had a message for demonstratos in Hong Kong.
The
20-year-old struggled to respond with a comment. Meanwhile Amy recently
told the MailOnline she is ready for romance, despite her busy schedule.
‘I’m
now ready to meet someone. I work seven days a week, I live on my own,
I’ve got a dog, I’m ready to be with someone but I’m not going to rush
into anything,' Amy said.
'I’m dating, but I’m not getting married or anything. It’s all good.’
And Amy, who
will return to TV screens in a festive episode of Celebrity Dinner
Date, is quite clear about the kind of man she’s looking for.
‘Someone I can have banter with,’ she said. ‘Down to earth, a cheeky chappy. Just someone I get on with. It’s about having fun.’
The reality star became something of a household name during her brief tenure on The Only Way Is Essex.
Towering heights: Despite the gaffe,
the 24-year-old still impressed on the MOBO red carpets last month,
wearing an embellished little black dress and strappy heels
