Kendra Wilkinson has revealed that she is single again after dumping Hank Baskett in the wake of his alleged cheating scandal.
Just
two days after the Girls Next Door star said she would 'never' divorce
her husband, she landed in Australia to take part in British reality
show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in the jungle, and divulged
that they have broken up.
When asked about the claims that Hank had an affair with a transsexual model, Kendra told DishNation: 'That is what I am trying to escape from. I am going to have some thinking time in the jungle.
It’s going to be good to be away from all that… I’m single for the time being.'
And
the 29-year-old even said she'd be open to the idea of romance in the
jungle, and told the publication: 'I don’t know what I’d do if there is a
Tarzan in there who wants to sweep me off my feet. I’m quite picky
about men. I do like a British accent though.'
She added: 'I’m still battling the post baby body. I don’t want to startle people with my body!'
Kendra will
be following in the footsteps of Janice Dickinson and Heidi Montag and
Spencer Pratt by appearing in the competition, which pits stars against
each other while making them take part in gruesome trials which often
involve eating live bugs.
The former girlfriend of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner said: 'I’m here to conquer my fears. I’m a wuss. I’m scared of everything.
'I’ve
never seen I'm A Celebrity before and I didn’t want to after I signed
up for the show. I want to go in blind. I don’t want to freak myself
out. And I have no idea who is going in with me. I hope it’s a good
group of people.'
The hit UK reality show was briefly adapted into a US version, but it only lasted for two seasons.
Ahead of voyaging into the jungle, Kendra landed in Brisbane on Monday along with other contestants.
She was clad in a casual yet comfortable ensemble which consisted of a navy cardigan, grey T-shirt and black leggings.
The star may have just stepped off a long flight, but she looked radiant while make-up free and with her blonde locks loose.
She
added to DishNation that she thinks the hardest part of the experience
is going to be being apart from four-year-old son Hank Jr and daughter
Alijah, who will be six months old next week.
'I’m
going to miss the kids the most. I feel like I’ve been gone for a year
already, but it’s only been one flight,' she admitted, but added: 'I’d
love to be the jungle queen. I might even catch some jungle fever!'
British television presenter Melanie Sykes, 44, also touched down, as did BBC newsreader Michael Buerk, 68.
He
has reportedly been offered a £120,000 fee to take part in the annual
programme. Upon touchdown he quipped: 'I'm here for the surf. I don't
understand what the fuss is about.'
Other celebrities tipped to appear on the show according to The Sun,
include X Factor star Jake Quckenden, motorcycle pro Carl Fogarty,
rapper Tinchy Stryder, TOWIE's Gemma Collins, model Nadia Forde, former
footballer Jimmy Bullard and Coronation Street star Craig Charles.
'Allo
'Allo! star Vicki Michelle, 63, is another surprise addition to the
line-up on the show which forces stars to live in the Australian jungle
and complete a series of disagreeable tasks.
retired soccer pro Jimmy told theDaily Mirror he was signing up because he's a big fan of the show and doesn't have much else on his plate.
'I'm a massive fan of the show, I'm doing nothing else. Why not?'
