The full line-up for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was only just revealed.
But
already there's plenty of fuss being made about the legend who will
withstand the nastiest surprises in store and go on to be crowned King
or Queen of the jungle.
For the most part, there seems to a lot more faith in the lads than the ladies.
Ladbrokes have
announced that a staggering 70 per cent of all I'm A Celebrity wagers
in the last 72 hours have been in favour of spider-phobic Jimmy Bullard,
the former Premier League.
He
hasn't even entered the jungle yet and already one Essex punter has
placed £1000 on his chances of winning this year's series.
Coral
also confirmed that the ex Wigan, Hull City and Fulham midfielder has
been given fantastic odds of 2-1 to banish his eight-legged fears.
Top lady: Melanie Sykes may prove to be a dark horse in the competition with the best odds of all the girls, 10-1
Coronation
Street star Craig Charles was the next favourite to find success in the
Australian jungle camp, standing at 7-1, followed by BBC newsreader
Michael Buerk, at 8-1.
Perhaps
Michael, 68, will use all the skills he's acquired throughout his
career as a war correspondent to pull through the competition, which he
says he signed up for since it was 'time to take myself less seriously.'
He added: 'Maybe doing this is some kind of late midlife crisis!'
Meanwhile, on the female front, TV host and model Melanie Sykes is showing the best odds - 10-1.
The
beautiful brunette TV show host and model says she is really looking
forward to the challenge but can become 'an emotional person' if a
situation emerges where she doesn't get enough food, drink and sleep.
Sorry Mel, but this is bound to happen and you should know that!
Jungle fever: The 2014 contenders pose in a promotional shot for the ITV show which starts on Sunday November 16 at 9pm
While
she's busy worrying about her living conditions, it seems that single
Nadia Forde, 25, is more concerned about the prospect of finding love in
the jungle.
The wannabe model, singer and actress admitted: 'I am single. I'm not looking for [love] but I'm not against it either.'
Perhaps
she might have more luck being struck with cupid's arrow Down Under
than resisting elimination - Nadia has the worst odds of all at the
moment with 20-1.
